In accordance to our recently posted Outdoor Pool Closure Policy:
Saturday, September 12: The outdoor pool will remain closed during Open Session 1 (11:00 AM–3:00 PM). The outdoor pool will be open for Session 2 from 4:00–8:00 PM.
Sunday, September 13: The outdoor pool will be closed during both open swim sessions.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Thank you, and we hope to see you at the pool during the available sessions!

Fall weather can be unpredictable, and that means outdoor operations at the Pasco Aquatic Center may look a little different from day to day.

During the shoulder season, PAC will use the National Weather Service hourly forecast to help determine whether the outdoor portion of the facility will open.

Here’s the general rule:

• Below 75°F: Outdoor area will remain closed
• 75–79°F with rain: Outdoor area will remain closed
• 75–79°F with no rain: Outdoor area may open
• 80°F or warmer: Outdoor area may open, including during rain when conditions are safe

The good news: An outdoor closure does not mean PAC is closed! Indoor pools, programs, lessons and other indoor activities may continue as scheduled. When the outdoor area is closed due to weather, the indoor-only admission rate will be available.

We’ll make outdoor operating decisions approximately two hours before scheduled opening whenever possible and share updates on our social media channels.

Outdoor cabana rentals affected by a closure will be canceled and refunded, and customers with affected reservations will be contacted.

Safety always comes first. Lightning, high winds, heavy rain, poor air quality or other hazardous conditions may result in additional changes to operations regardless of temperature.

Swim lessons are coming to the Pasco Aquatic Center! Beginning on September 8th, families can learn to swim at PAC while Aquatic Center is closed for the installation of the bulkhead and dome.

Swimmers: the outdoor pool portion of the PAC will be closed during Open Swim Session 1 (11 am to 3 pm) from August 31st to September 4th. The outdoor portion will be closed as many of our wonderful lifeguards will head back to school. The outdoor portion will open for the evening swim session and will be open on weekends.

Will our rates reflect that? You bet! Here's a lengthy breakdown of the admission prices for the next few weeks:

Looking for a workout that makes a splash?

Pasco Aquatic Center has two great ways to build some physical fitness right into your pool time!

Lap Swim – Set your own pace, get those laps in, and enjoy a full-body, low-impact workout.

Resistance Walking – Take your walk to the water! Walking against the current in the lazy river adds resistance while being easy on your joints.

And the best part? You can focus on your workout while our awesome lifeguards are on duty keeping an eye on the water and helping keep everyone safe!

Whether you’re swimming laps or going against the flow, it’s a great way to POOL your resources and work some fitness into your day!

Come on in—the water is working out just fine.
