We’re thrilled to have Michaela join our team at British Swim School!
A former competitive swimmer, Michaela spent all four years of high school in the pool, and breaststroke has always been her favorite event. She’s currently studying nursing in college and loves making a positive impact on others.
Outside of swim lessons, Michaela enjoys hiking with her dogs, sewing, baking sweet treats, and watching Tangled—her all-time favorite movie!
We can’t wait for our swimmers to learn from Michaela’s experience, encouragement, and passion for swimming. Be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her at the pool!

This be little Tadpole loves to be in the water! Her brain is learning that water is not to be feared and how to roll on her back to be water safe! We’re loving the smiles. 💜

👋 Meet Sylvie, our newest Deck Ambassador! 🇬🇧
Sylvie has loved the water since she was just six months old! She started surfing and competitive figure skating around the age of nine, and today she enjoys spending time in the gym weightlifting. She loves Chick-fil-A and her favorite movies are Waves, Moonlight, or The Holy Mountain.
Her dream is to become a biologist, and she’s excited to be part of the British Swim School family because she believes in our mission of preventing drownings and helping kids build a lifelong love of swimming. We’re so happy to have her on our team!🇬🇧🇬🇧

🌊 Meet Our Newest Swim Instructor – Eero! 💙

Born in Shanghai, Eero moved to Pasadena when he was 4 years old and has loved the Los Angeles area ever since. He is an avid track runner with a mile PR of 4:38!!!! 🏃This August, he’ll be a high school senior before pursuing a degree in urban planning with hopes of helping design cities one day.
Fun fact: Eero is named after architect Eero Saarinen, who designed the iconic Gateway Arch!
His favorite movie is Forrest Gump, and his favorite color is blue. 💙
We’re so excited for our swimmers to learn from Eero’s positive attitude and enthusiasm. Be sure to say hello when you see him at the pool!
