As a coach, one of the best things to see isn't just what happens during lessons—it's what happens when athletes go home and keep working.

This athlete not only put in her pitching work at home, but she took the time to write down every drill she worked on and even made notes about what she feels she still needs to improve. That kind of accountability, effort, and self-awareness is what separates athletes who want to be good from athletes who are determined to get better.

Talent is great, but consistent work when nobody is watching is what creates results.
