Two of my older horses, Jace and Chance, are my tried and true. They have both given so much to me and together we've experienced my highest highs as a competitor. With Chance, I found lots of success in endurance. With Jace, I pushed my dressage to my highest place so far. I love both of those guys so much.
Both of them have been off for quite some time with physical issues. I've tried bringing them back into work and I haven't been successful.
Today, I was able to spend time with each of them. I was able to ride them both around the property and they were both sound and comfortable 😭♥️😭♥️ I'm so happy and relieved!
I'll keep bringing them back into strength and fitness. When you have a horse you've partnered with through stressful and exhilarating moments, the bond is incredible and feeling on their back is unmatched.
