Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned Black Belt, if you are looking for a school to attend in the Papillion, Nebraska area, please feel free to drop in and check out or school. Kanshin Dojo specializes in Kamishin Ryu Karate Do (as was taught to Master Rockenbach by Grandmaster Albert C. Keyser of Lincoln, Nebraska) and a variant of Tae kwon-Do that uses the International Tae kwon-Do Federation's formal exercises (the Chon-Ji series of Hyungs). I Sensei Wesley Smith now proudly carry on the tradition that Master Rockenbach has established. Students who enroll at Kanshin Dojo will receive training that will allow them to earn belts in both Kamishin Ryu Karate Do and Taekwon-Do simultaneously. In addition to Kamishin Ryu Karate Do and Taekwon-Do, we also teach some Kamishin Ryu Ju-Jitsu and some traditional Okinawan weapons.

Just a reminder classes resume Wednesday the 8th. Many of our superheroes aka teachers survived the fireworks tent marathon over the weekend. I salute them, they deserve today to recharge. 3 are down with the plague, 2 are running on fumes and rumor has it one is MIA in another city.

The karate state games are on July 18 in Lincoln. You can compete in Forms, Sparring and Weapens.
Shihan Sean will be competing in all categories and he also will work with anybody who wants to compete in weapons to get ready.
Shihan Dai Dani is going to compete in weapons..
Both would love to have a nice group of their students participating as well.

We're calling on volunteers to help make our July 4, 2026, fireworks tent a success. We'll be operating from 1pm until closing, with a similar schedule to last year's 8pm close, followed by inventory cleanup. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
