Palo Alto Golf Club is a golf club that plays out of Baylands Golf Links in Palo Alto, California.

PAGC played a two man Shamble at beautiful Seascape Golf Course in Aptos California. Seascape was designed by Willie Locke in 1926 and opened as the exclusive Rio Del Mar Country Club. It was repurposed during WWII as a victory garden. In 1957 it was redesigned by David Gill and reopened as the Aptos Beach CC. The name eventually changed to Seascape Golf Club.

PAGC played Saturday’s ILN tournament at the historic Golf Club at Moffett Field. Built in 1959, this relatively flat course was named the “Hill Course” in honor of Captain Arthur S Hill, Commanding Officer of Moffett Field when it opened.

Congratulations to PAGC member Mike Waller who secured 3rd place at the NCGA 62nd Senior Net Championship today, and honorable mention to PAGC member Patrick Beaulieu who finished 4th.

5th instance of the monthly PAGC Weekday Warriors League that the club has put together this year for those who like to play golf tournaments during the week.

In spite of the 2-3 club winds, we had some good scores with a high of 40 Stableford points (Ron Reedy) in Flight 2 and 37 points (Dave Moslander) in Flight 1.

Congrats to Thomas Hultgren for winning 3 gross skins, Buzz Ogren and Niraj Jain for winning 2 Net Skins each.
