⚾ **SLIDEMVP Clinic — October 7!** ⚾

Come learn and practice feet-first sliding! SLIDEMVP is a roll-out sliding mat that lets players work through the steps and get plenty of reps. It’s a simple way to build baserunning skills for baseball and softball.

• **5:30 PM:** Machine Pitch
• **6:30 PM:** Minors Kid Pitch
• **7:30 PM:** Majors, Intermediate, Juniors & Seniors

🌭 **Concession Stand Volunteer Sign-Ups Are Open!** ⚾

When you registered for the fall season, your family paid a **$100 volunteer fee**. Your family can get the **full $100 refunded** by completing **two concession stand shifts** this fall.

**Here’s how it works:**

1️⃣ Sign up for two shifts using the link below.

2️⃣ Work both shifts during the fall season.

3️⃣ After both shifts are completed, your $100 refund will be issued to the **original form of payment used at registration**.

The requirement is **two shifts per family**. Signing up alone does not qualify for the refund; **both shifts must be completed**.

🙋 **Teen volunteers:** High school students are welcome to sign up for volunteer hours. They must be **at least 14 years old** to work in the concession stand.

**Children under 14 are not permitted inside the concession stand during your shifts unless the board member on duty approves.** There is hot food and equipment in the stand, and we want to keep everyone safe.

Shift times may change if the game schedule changes. We’ll communicate any updates.

⚾️🥎 District 1 Families—we need your input!

Youth baseball and softball continues to grow in our area, but our community does not currently have enough baseball and softball fields to meet that demand—especially softball fields that would allow us to build and offer a local girls’ softball program.

We are gathering community interest to support a proposal for additional multi-use baseball and softball fields in Manatee County-District 1. These ball fields could provide girls with the opportunity to play softball locally while also supporting our growing baseball program through all divisions.

If your child currently plays—or would be interested in playing—softball or baseball, please complete our short survey. The numbers collected will be submitted to county officials and used to demonstrate the need for additional baseball and softball facilities in District 1.

This is an interest survey only and is not an official registration or commitment. Please submit one response per household and share this with other local families. The more responses we receive, the better we can demonstrate our community’s need!
