I will need to adjust my opinion on where the market is for 991.1 cars, as it is obviously heading up as prices on this series of 911 continue to climb. It’s been a busy couple of months at Compass Racing Collective! Our new Palm Springs location is going strong while San Diego continues to kick it out of the park.

The month of May is always an exciting month for motorsports and it proved to be an equally exciting month in auction sales. We were pleased to represent three lovely Porsches including our first Singer Classic Porsche. A low-mileage 2001 Ferrari, a classic Land Cruiser and a one-owner MB GLS450 rounded out a strong month highlighting strength in a variety of market segments.

Every auction is unique. At Compass, each car receives the same high-level presentation and auction management, irrespective of value. Our May results highlight that fact. From a seven-figure Porsche to a one-owner Mercedes, we represent our client’s vehicles with authenticity, transparency and proactive engagement. The results speak for themselves.

✨Meet “Lonestar” — a 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design and finished in September 2024. Draped in paint-to-sample Dom Pérignon over full carbon-fiber body panels, accented with nickel-plated brightwork, and riding on staggered 17” Fuchs-style forged wheels, this 964 is a study in obsession.

Under the decklid: a 4.0L flat-six with individual throttle bodies, paired to a close-ratio six-speed manual and a limited-slip diff. Öhlins adjustable dampers, a front strut brace, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes keep it planted.

Inside, Bone leather meets woven leather inserts, Oxford Blue dash trim, and a MOMO wheel wrapped in Orion Nubuck. Carbon-fiber buckets. Leather-wrapped roll bar. Porsche Classic stereo with CarPlay. Every surface considered.
