We've lost count of how many people have tried on a pair of PB5s on this trip, but we started filming the reactions because honestly? They're too good not to share.

This one's for everyone who let us shove a camera in your face the second the laces were tied. You made this way too fun to compile.

We stopped at The Harvest Kitchen and left with a lot more than a good meal. Turns out the owner, Lori, and her family play pickleball!

Talking with her, it was clear why her place feels the way it does, she listens to what people actually want, and does everything with real care. Honestly, that's the same thing we try to do at PB5.

So we did the only reasonable thing: got her properly set up in a pair of PB5s.
Lori, thank you for the food, the kindness, and for letting us fix your shoe situation.

Day 7: Austin ➡️ Waco ➡️ Dallas 🤠

Started the morning visiting our friends at Karavel, then headed north to Waco for lunch at Magnolia Table, a little wandering around the Silos and, naturally, asking strangers if they play pickleball.

Turns out Waco has plenty of pickleball lovers. What it needs is more indoor courts! No one was volunteering to play in that Texas heat. We also heard pickleball is a favorite around the Magnolia team and that they even host a company tournament every year. We’d happily come back for that one. 😉

Then we kept moving. Matcha, road trip snacks, a few Dallas shenanigans and dinner at Uchiba, where even the chefs turned out to be pickleball players.
Seven days in and we’re learning you can find pickleball people pretty much anywhere.
