100-Yard Range Grand Opening
Another “Grand Opening” at the range today!
We’re excited to announce that our 100-yard range is officially open and was put to good use today. A very special thank-you to our President, John Elam, and his group for helping make this milestone possible.
And an especially heartfelt thank you to our Executive Officer, Dave Taggart, for his tremendous hard work, dedication, and “never stop” attitude. Dave has been working behind the scenes for quite some time to get this range ready, coordinating with the county, contractors, and everyone involved to help bring this project to completion.
We truly appreciate everyone who has put in the time and effort to make this new range a reality. Thank you!
If you visit the new 100-yard range, please take a moment to READ THE RULE BOARD before using the range. Safety and following the rules are everyone’s responsibility.
Congratulations to everyone on this exciting addition to our range!

Sig 320 Ban
It has come to the Board’s attention that there is a request for Sig Sauer 320 Series fire@rm to once again be allowed at Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club. The Board of Directors and Counsel have considered this carefully and have decided that the ban of Sig Sauer 320 fire@rms upon the PMRPC property and all events on the PMRPC property shall continue at this time. The potential for injury from a completely unanticipated discharge remains, and the BOD is responsible for making decisions that affect every member and guests safety. Likewise, PMRPC could be held liable or at least dragged into ongoing expensive and uncertain litigation over any discharge of a Sig Sauer 320 series fire@rm that occurs at any time other than when the operator presses the trigg3r. The BOD has decided that the potential risks to life and safety posed by the Sig Sauer 320 series fire@rms outweighs any benefit to the membership and guests that want to use the fire@rm. All other Sig Sauer fire@rms not otherwise prohibited at PMRPC are welcome.

Last night we had a ribbon cutting ceremony on our new building. After all this time the building is complete (minus Wi-Fi - it will be done in a few days ) but we will hold our new member orientation this month in here.
Thanks to Dave for all the hard work and getting the city to say “YES” . Thank you to John for your hard work with the city and putting things in place inside. Your flag inside is just awesome !!
And thanks to rest of the BOD for making the upgrade to our range, and making us the best place to come and sh00t .

Happy Independence Day!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish you and your families a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July.
As we celebrate our nation's independence, we also recognize the freedoms and responsibilities that unite us as Americans. Thank you for being part of our club and for your commitment to safe fi****ms handling, good sportsmanship, and the fellowship that makes our club such a special community.
Whether you're spending the day with family and friends, enjoying time at the range, or watching fireworks, we hope your holiday is filled with fun, pride, and appreciation for the liberties we enjoy.
Happy Fourth of July, and thank you for your continued support of our club.

Last night the RSO group took another “field trip” , this time to the Action Area. Cathy was kind enough to demonstrate how she does a stage during IDPA. She has won “Most Accurate “ many times.
Thank you for the demonstration, and showing those RSO ,who did not know about IDPA , what goes on.
** RSO’s will visit different ranges to learn about the disciplines . RSO’s also keep up on the range rules, and jump in to help when we had big matches or new member orientation.**
Thanks to the RSO’s who come out and help the range

Members… We would like your input…
After a long process we are about to occupy our new BIG building. It will be used for monthly Board of Director meetings, quarterly general membership meetings, the annual meeting, new member orientations, action area orientations, and other meetings that require its use. I think we can come up with a better name than just “The meeting building.”
If any member has a suggestion for a name, please submit it to me for consideration.
Thank you ,
John Elam. President PMRPC

DON’T let your badge get turned off…
Renewal season is going strong right now. Stickers are being mailed out in big batches. IF you have not paid by end of this month you risk having your badge turned off and it could take a few weeks to get it back on .
To renew, go to the website, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see “Online Renewals “ and “Mail in Renewals”
Now the business part is out , go to the range and have fun 🤩
