My name is Bonita, ever since I was a little girl I knew that flying was my passion - I just didn't know what it would entail, or when I would get an opportunity to pursue that dream. One day in April, 2009, I saw paragliding for the first time after I purchased a one-way ticket to Hawaii. I was driving to the North Shore and we passed Kahana Bay and I looked up in the sky and said to my friends, "What the hell is that?!! I want to do that!!!" Two weeks later, I began learning how to fly. To this day, I still get excited for every flight, even if it is only a short time in the air. I recently received my tandem license and am even more anxious and excited to share the stoke with someone else! To help someone else get so excited about flying is one of the best experiences in the world.

While paraglidng today, I got to fly with an osprey as I was whale watching! And I caught a whale breaching!

What a beautiful day! I was amazed to see the osprey and knew it wasn't like the other birds that normally fly with us: red-tailed hawks, seagulls, brown pelicans, vultures, and on rare occasion (like earlier this year for me): a bald eagle.

It's Fogust, but the sun came out and made a beautiful day. We enjoyed whale watching, seeing the different boats (and cruise ship), the Farrallons, Pt. Reyes, and Ursula and Jonathan went up for a sunset flight!

Some strangers were doing a gender reveal and asked me to fly with their pink balloon since I had a pretty pink Fregate to match. 🎈
