Twin Tigers TKD Academy From our family to yours, serving Oxnard since 1994. 🐯 Family-oriented Taekwondo for children, teens & adults. These five schools have been very successful.

Building discipline, confidence, focus, respect & life skills on Saviers Rd. There are many martial arts schools in Ventura County, but none like Ramirez Twin Tigers. Our philosophy holds us together and impulses us to be the best. We reinforce respect, confidence and discipline, which we consider to be the basic building blocks of humanity. Our school is designed to offer something for every age.

We have created a class schedule that adjust to everyone's life. Ramirez Twin Tigers TKD Academy’s history is proof of the level of preparation and responsibility of our staff. Back in 1988 Ramirez Twin Tigers TKD Academy opened its doors in Filmore, CA for the first time. A few years latter expansion was a necessity bringing the academy to Oxnard, CA in 1994. Grand Master Martin Ramirez has open a total of three more schools in Ventura County for the grand total of five schools. Master Ramirez decided that his main school was going to be his 3031 Saviers Rd. location and from there he has created a family that expands over Ventura County. The success of these schools has been a reflection of Grand Master Martin Ramirez' life dedication to Tae Kwon Do. Grand Master Ramirez brings over 30 years of experience, which makes him the perfect leader. The Academy’s philosophy of respect, confidence and discipline is brought to life in every class and every tournament. 🥋 Mucho Más Que Una Clase de Taekwondo

¡Muchísimas gracias a todas las familias de Twin Tigers que compartieron el tatami con sus estudiantes durante nuestra Clase Familiar de Fin de Trimestre! ❤️

Nos divertimos muchísimo, pero momentos como estos son mucho más que solo pateo.

Como padres, pasamos tanto tiempo enseñando, corrigiendo, animando y guiando a nuestros hijos. Pero a veces, es igual de importante darles la oportunidad de enseñarnos a nosotros.

Date permiso de hacer el ridículo un poquito. 😄
Haz algo que le encanta a tu hijo.
Deja que te enseñe cómo se hace.
Deja que corrija tu postura.
Deja que te vea batallar, reír, aprender e intentarlo de nuevo.

Porque cuando entramos en su mundo, sucede algo especial. Creamos conexión. Fortalecemos la confianza. Les demostramos que lo que ellos disfrutan también es importante para nosotros.

Y quizás lo más importante: les recordamos que no siempre tenemos que ser los maestros. A veces, también podemos ser los alumnos.

Gracias a todos los padres, hermanos y familiares que participaron y ayudaron a hacer de este evento algo tan especial.

Y padres, si disfrutaron estar en el tatami con su estudiante, recuerden que los padres entrenan GRATIS en Twin Tigers. 🥋❤️ No tienen que esperar hasta nuestra próxima Clase Familiar para vivir esta experiencia juntos.

🥋 More Than Just a Taekwondo Class

A huge thank you to all of our Twin Tigers families who stepped onto the mat with their students this week!❤️

Moments like these are about so much more than Taekwondo. They’re about connection, trust, and being present in our kids’ world.

As parents, we’re used to teaching and guiding our kids. But sometimes, it’s good to let them teach us.

Give yourself permission to look a little silly. 😄
Try something they love.
Let them show you how it’s done.
Let them correct your stance.
Let them see you laugh, struggle, learn, and try again.

Those little moments can build something really big—a stronger connection between parent and child.

A new school year is more than new clothes, new shoes, and a new backpack. It’s another opportunity to help your child grow.

At Twin Tigers Taekwondo, we believe martial arts is about so much more than kicking and punching.

It’s about confidence when they feel unsure.
Discipline when things get difficult.
Respect for themselves and others.
Focus, perseverance, courage, and the confidence to keep going when they want to quit.

These are life skills they can carry far beyond the dojang—and into the classroom, friendships, family, and eventually the world they build for themselves.
