YOGA by the SEA offers year-round, DONATION BASED YOGA classes, MEDITATIONS & Sound Baths in the beautiful Oxnard Beach Park.

Happy Sunday, YOGA by the SEA!
Did you know?... The inspiration for Velcro came from something as simple as a walk in nature. In the 1940s, Swiss engineer George de Mestral noticed tiny burrs clinging to his clothing and his dog’s fur. Curious, he looked at them under a microscope and discovered that their tiny hooks naturally grabbed onto loops in fabric. That simple observation eventually led to the invention of Velcro, patented in 1955. A beautiful reminder that inspiration can be hiding in the ordinary—if we slow down enough to notice. Perhaps yoga offers us that same gift: a chance to pause, become curious, and see something familiar in a completely new way.

Saturday UNPLUG YOGA by the SEA 🌊… we gave ourselves permission to unplug from the outside world & plug into our own inner wisdom, letting go of the noise, distractions & fear of missing out, remembering that in solitude we find ourselves, in silence we hear our truth, & what we may be searching for out there is often already within us, waiting to be discovered in the stillness, slowing down, turning inward & being present with what’s already here....
