Hockey is extremely popular at Miami and our men’s NCAA team routinely sends players to the NHL. However, women’s hockey is a club sport at Miami and while we get funding from the university and are provided with an excellent home rink in which to practice and play games, we rely on donations to supplement our budget each season. As an ACHA DII team, we play a robust schedule of approximately 20 games and routinely travel to rinks across Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In order to live our dream of representing Miami on the ice and expanding the popularity of women’s hockey on campus we need your support!
