Greenbelt Trail Closure Notice 🚧

The Greenbelt walking path between Fairview Drive and Millers Mill Road will be temporarily closed for tree maintenance beginning Monday, June 22, through June 30.

The closure will be in effect daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please plan accordingly and use caution in the area. Thank you for your patience as this maintenance is completed!

Hey Boro Bikes community! 🚴‍♂️
​We are officially back up and running, but we want to clear up a glitch from our recent startup. For a brief period, our standard hourly rental option vanished from the app, accidentally forcing riders to select a monthly membership just to unlock a bike.
​The hourly rental option is now fully restored! You can rent bikes normally again—no membership strings attached.

Memberships are still available ($20/month or $50/year), but not required!

​If you were one of the riders who bought a membership just to get a ride (and don't want to keep the membership), please reach out to us so we can adjust your charge back to a normal hourly rental. If you walked away because the hourly option was missing, we’re so sorry for the hassle—come back and give us another try!

​We are incredibly excited to announce that our Boro Bikes are back out in the wild and ready for your next adventure! It’s been a minute, but they are polished up, parked, and waiting for you.

Right on the Greenbelt at the Horse Fork Creek Park entrance (just off Fairview Drive here in Owensboro!).

​Cruising the trail has never been easier. No keys, no cash, no hassle—the entire process is handled right from your phone:

UPDATE: 4/24/26 We still do not have any bikes out right now. When they begin widening Fairview Dr. at Horse Fork, we will have to move the station, as of right now, we do not know where to.

STOLEN BIKE
If anyone sees this bike around town, please notify the Daviess County Sheriff's office.

Also, whoever stole the cup holders we just added to the bikes last week. Karma is coming for you.

That all being said, after the theft of one bike, attempted theft & damage to a second, and unexplained pedal damage to a 3rd, we have removed all the bikes for the time being.

Our daughter loves getting her new book in the mail every month! 🧡 You can often find some used ones in the Little Library next to the Greenbelt Bike Station!
