Water covers 71% of our planet, but the skills to survive in it are not something we’re born with.

As of July 22, 2026, Florida has already lost 74 children to drowning. Behind every number is a child who was deeply loved and a family forever changed.

Drowning is fast, silent, and often preventable. Layers of protection matter:
💦 Constant, undistracted adult supervision
💦 Barriers like four-sided pool fencing
💦 Coast Guard-approved life jackets when appropriate
💦 CPR knowledge
💦 And most importantly, survival swim lessons that teach children how to respond if they unexpectedly enter the water.

At SwimSprout, we’re committed to giving children the skills and confidence they need to survive an aquatic accident while building a foundation for a lifetime of safe water enjoyment.

Today, we honor the lives that have been lost by continuing to educate, advocate, and equip families with knowledge that can save lives.
