π‘ Travel Tip Tuesday: The Day 1 Disney Cruise Mistake nobody warns you about! π’βοΈ
Y'ALL. Let's talk about embarkation day for a sec, because this one trips up so many first-time cruisers! πββοΈ
The second you hand your luggage off to the porters? Gone. P**f. You will NOT see those big suitcases again until sometimes as late as 5:00 PM that afternoon!
So if you packed all your daytime essentials in there, guess who's stuck wandering the ship in jeans while everyone else is already flying down the AquaDuck?? Not us. Not today. π
Here's your Day 1 Carry-On Checklist so you can walk straight into vacation mode the second you step onboard π
π Swimwear & Cover-Ups β pack these on TOP so you can change in a pool deck restroom before the crowds even show up
βοΈ Sun Protection β sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, all of it, those open decks do not play
π Medications & Documents β passports, IDs, and any daily meds, keep them close and accessible
π Portable Charger β your phone is about to work overtime capturing every first-day memory
π³ Lanyard / Key Holder β keep your boarding info handy, trust me on this one
β¨ Bonus Pro Tip: Concierge guests get priority luggage delivery, but even without that, a smart day bag means your whole family is in the water having fun instead of lugging heavy carry-ons around at lunchtime!
π Save this post for your next cruise packing day, you'll thank yourself later!
π¬ Ok experienced cruisers β what's the ONE thing you NEVER leave out of your embarkation day bag? Tell me below, I need more ideas for our trip! ππ

Okay travel besties, PSA time because I KNOW some of you don't realize this yet! π¨β¨
If you've ever slid into my DMs like:
"Hey what do you think about this resort?"
"Which cruise would you pick?"
"Can I pick your brain about Disney??"
YES. ALWAYS. PLEASE. I genuinely light up when y'all ask me this stuff β it's not a bother, it's literally my favorite part of my day. π₯Ή
But here's the thing I don't think everyone realizes...
This IS my job. π«
The research? Me.
Comparing 12 resorts at 11pm? Me.
The endless "okay but what about THIS one" texts? Also me, and I love it.
Itinerary building, troubleshooting, rebooking when a hurricane decides to be dramatic β all me.
And the best part? It costs you NOTHING. Zero. Zilch. π
Here's how it actually works: when you book through me, Disney/Universal/the cruise line/the resort pays ME a commission AFTER you travel. That commission is already baked into the price whether you book with me or book direct. The only difference is β if you don't book with a travel agent, the company just pockets it instead.
So if you're taking that trip anyway (and let's be honest, you are π), booking through me is one of the easiest, comfiest ways to support a small business without spending an extra cent. π₯°
You can plan every detail yourself. You can know exactly the resort, room, ship, package β down to the pixie dust. I'm still here to handle the booking and be your person if anything goes sideways.
And truly β I WANT the questions. Send them all. π
Just one ask in return: when I've helped you find the magic, let me help you book it too. π Because when that happens somewhere else after I've done all the digging? I don't get to be part of the happy ending β and this little business doesn't grow.
But when you book with me β same vacation, same price, same magic β except now I get to keep doing this for my family, and you've got an actual human in your corner the whole time. That's it. That's the whole trade. Win-win. β€οΈ
And to every single one of you who has booked with me, sent a friend my way, shared a post, tagged me, hyped me up β THANK YOU. π₯Ή I don't take a single one of those bookings for granted, big or small. Every one of them matters more than you know.
So next time a trip is on your mind β come talk to me FIRST. Before you book. Let's make it magical. βοΈπ°β¨

Planning something so special right now that I just have to share it. π°π€
I'm helping plan a Disney World trip and this one is extra close to my heart, because her daughter has some medical and developmental needs that mean this trip takes a little more thought, a little more planning, and a whole lot of love to pull off right.
If you've followed me for a while, you know why this matters so much to me. I've walked this road myself with my own sweet girl. I know what it's like to plan around meds, mobility and moments that "typical" trip guides just don't cover. I know the extra research, the extra calls, the extra "wait, will this actually work for HER" that goes into every single detail.
So this week we've been working through it all together β wheelchair rentals, medication storage, accessibility accommodations, adaptive equipment, sensory considerations, the whole thing. Because Disney CAN be magical for every kind of family, but it takes someone who actually gets it to help you build the plan.
This is exactly why I do what I do. Not just booking a trip β building a trip that actually works for YOUR family, whatever that looks like. π
If you're a medical mama (or just a mama with a kiddo who needs a little extra planning) dreaming of Disney but not sure where to start β I got you. Send me a message. Let's make the magic actually accessible for your family too. β¨
