This past Saturday, USTA Florida teamed up with USTA Coaching to bring entry-level coach training to Crandon Park Tennis Center in the beautiful Key Biscayne, the furthest south USTA Coaching has traveled to date. π
For many participants, this was their very first hands-on, on-court experience in a structured training environment, learning the fundamentals of coaching principles, on-court instruction, and player development. β¨
π£οΈ "We are thrilled to bring a training of this nature this far south, and to do it at the historic Crandon Park makes it even more special. There is so much talent and passion for tennis in South Florida, and giving coaches in this community access to quality education is how we grow the game from the ground up." β Lori Burdell, USTA Florida Director of Provider Development & Support
