Sweetlax Florida is proud to welcome back Brian Silcott as its Head of Youth Player Development. Coach Silcott has had an illustrious career as a player, coach, and leader. Coach Silcott was a 2x All-American and National Midfielder of the Year in college at Nazareth before embarking on an 11 year career in the NLL and MLL. His coaching experience includes multiple club teams, college programs, the MLL and international programs such as the Jamaican National Team. Coach Silcott has been a leader in player development and education serving on the board of USA Lacrosse and head of player development for the PLL.
With the additions of new Program Director Connor McKemey, Coach Silcott, and the strongest coaching staff in the country, Sweetlax Florida is exited about its future as the undisputed leader in play development. A founding member of the NAL, Alliance, Bowl Series and new Arena Series, no program has access to better tournaments and competition then Sweetlax. With 65+ D1 and D3 college commitments over the last two years, no program has put more players into college lacrosse. Play with Sweetlax and BetheBest!

Sweetlax Florida is proud to welcome Brendan Nichtern to its 2026-27 coaching staff where he will be coaching the 2034 team. Coach Nichtern has had tremendous success as a college and professional player. Coach Nichtern was 3x Patriot League Player of the Year and leads Army in points scored in a career. He then went on to set the PLL record for points scored in a rookie season.

Sweetlax Florida is proud to welcome Mikey Berkman to its 2026-27 coaching staff. Coach Berkman is one of the most acclaimed offensive players in Florida HS history as the all time leader in career in points and assists and the first player ever to score 200 goals and have 200 assists. Coach Berkman then went on to an outstanding college career starting at Syracuse and finishing at Rollins, where he was a two-time USILA All-American. Coach Berkman has brought his playing skills into coaching where has founded 407 Orange club lacrosse in the Orlando area. Sweetlax Florida has a relentless focus on player development and that starts with the best coaches that help each player BetheBest.

Sweetlax Florida is proud to announce its class of 2027 college commits. From D1 to D3 and across the country, Sweetlax Florida players will be demonstrating their skills at the next level.
