A great collection of old training newsletters finally back in print after years of being out of print or only on the collectors market.
Great training insights from Soke and the Japanese Shihan.
Just thought I would share if anyone was interested.
Tetsuzan: Bujinkan Densho In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi, inheritor of nine martial arts schools and a lineage spanning over 1,000 years, authored a series of newsletters to serve as a useful guide and reference for maturing martial arts students around the world. The articles contained wit...
Would like to thank Sensei Ed and all others who attended the workshop last night. Many great learnings and insights were handed to us in a most painful manner. All in all, a fantastic 3 hours of training.
To all attendees, please don't be strangers and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday and Sundays for continued practice. Our next Workshop will tentatively be around September 22, but Shihan will let us know a few weeks in advance.

I just love reading blogs on training from Japan. So much information to absorb beyond mat training.
Bujinkan is a true living art. Just incredible.

Some interesting thoughts from Soke's class recently.
A great reminder that our art should be one of secret, of no technique. Make the connection and appear as though you are not doing anything. Let your taijutsu do the work.
Keep going!
The 骨 Kotsu of Bujinkan 手解 Tehodoki Michael Glenn is frequently beat up in the Bujinkan Hombu Dojo A little over a week ago, I was in Soke’s class trying to do 両手解 ryō tehodoki. Normally, this is not difficult for me except there wer...
