I was just being curious because I like looking at stats and comparing…
My MixxedFit session burned 419 calories in 53 minutes.
Then I looked at my 7.13-mile run… and that burned 499 calories in 1:05.
I know calorie numbers are not exact exact, but that is still pretty darn close.
So if anyone thinks dance fitness is just cute little movement… nope 😄
It is fun, it is sweaty, and yes, MixxedFit is a true cardio burner.

Hello June!!
My run felt a little off, and I finally figured out why… I grabbed the wrong shoes.
It’s funny how one small thing can change the whole feel of a run.

Another good way to release tight hips and glutes is this standing figure 4 stretch.
It’s a nice option if you want a stretch for the outer hips and glutes without getting down on the floor.
A few benefits:
* opens up the glutes and outer hips
* helps with hip mobility
* adds a little balance work too
* easy to do almost anywhere
This can be good for:
* people who sit a lot
* runners and walkers
* lifters
* anyone who wants a non-floor stretch option
Go slow, sit back as much as works for your body, and don’t force it.
