Freedom Wrestling Alumni Announcement ‼️

Congratulations to former Freedom High School 2X State Champion, Florida Dairy Farmers Female Wrestler of the Year and member of our 2022 State Championship team Kailey Rees on being named the Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana! 💪

Kailey has been a tremendous representative of the Freedom Wrestling family, both on and off the mat. Her hard work, dedication, and passion for wrestling helped her become a 2X State Champion, and we are excited to see her continue giving back to the sport as a collegiate coach.

Kailey’s journey is a great example of the opportunities wrestling creates and the impact our alumni continue to make.

We are proud of you, Coach Rees, and wish you the best of luck in this next chapter! Keep building, keep leading, and keep making the Freedom Wrestling family proud 💪

Congratulations to Ismael Robles!

Ismael will continue both his academic and wrestling career here in Orlando after making the decision to stay in the Sunshine State.

We are incredibly proud of Ismael and everything he has accomplished through his hard work, dedication, and commitment. We can’t wait to see what the future holds as he takes the next step in his journey.

Future Spartan Xavier Santiago is spending the week at Manchester University helping with their wrestling camp. A great opportunity to give back, learn from the coaching staff, and get a glimpse of what the next chapter of his wrestling career will look like. The future is bright!

Girls wrestling has been on the rise for years, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down 🚀. At our school, we made a commitment to building a girls wrestling program before many schools even had girls on their roster.

That commitment and hard work have paid off. Since girls wrestling became officially sanctioned in 2022, our program has been a consistent force in the state, finishing 1st, 2nd, 4th, 3rd, and 1st over the last five seasons.

More importantly, we’ve helped create opportunities for young women to compete, grow, and succeed both on and off the mat. The future of girls wrestling is bright, and we’re proud to continue leading the way 🫡
