Our last finalist for Best in Media, Communications & PR is Madison Mehringer. As Director of External Operations for the Orlando Sports Foundation and StaffDNA Cure Bowl, Mehringer leads communications, marketing, and community engagement efforts that continue to expand the reach and impact of one of Orlando’s most meaningful sporting events.
Over the past year, Madison helped generate more than 30 million social media impressions surrounding the 2025 StaffDNA Cure Bowl, including a record-breaking 12 million Instagram views in a single 30-day period leading up to the game. Through creative influencer partnerships, community-driven campaigns, and storytelling focused on cancer awareness, her work has elevated both engagement and participation across multiple Orlando Sports Foundation initiatives, including the Race 2 Cure 5K.

Our next finalist up for Best in Gameday & Team Operations is Joe Hierholzer, Director of Internal Operations for the Orlando Sports Foundation and the Cure Bowl.
Joe led the Cure Bowl's transition between three different venues in three consecutive years (Inter & Co Stadium, FBC Mortgage Stadium, and Camping World Stadium). He manages year-round operations for all 17 OSF events, serves as the lead liaison for the Cure All-Star Games across eight sports, and authored the master Bowl Manual. Joe nearly doubled participation numbers for the Race 2 Cure 5K. He also coordinated over 100 volunteers for the Arnold Palmer Invitational to raise $15,000+ for cancer research, and continues to give back by volunteer-coaching the UCF Knightro mascot program.
