🎉 Congratulations to Our Newest Divers! 🤿🌊

There’s something pretty special about watching two brothers continue building their diving experience together.

The younger brother officially earned his SDI Junior Open Water Diver and Nitrox certifications, taking a huge first step into a lifetime of underwater adventure!

His big brother is no stranger to diving with Florida Dive Company. After completing a variety of training and dives with us, he just added another skill to his toolbox by completing his Full Face Mask training and is now enjoying his OTS Guardian Full Face Mask. His training continues as he explores a future pathway toward becoming a dive professional and/or public safety diver.

From earning that first certification to developing specialized skills for where diving may take you next, this is exactly what continuing education is all about.

Congratulations to our newest Deep and Nitrox divers! 🤿🌊

This weekend at Blue Spring State Park, Mom, Dad, and their Junior Open Water Diver took another step forward in their diving journey together.

Training younger divers requires a different approach. At Florida Dive Company, junior divers aren’t simply placed into an adult class. We adapt how we teach, explain, demonstrate, and reinforce skills to meet the needs of the individual diver while maintaining the same training standards.

Our goal is more than completing a certification. It’s developing confident, competent, and more knowledgeable divers who understand what they’re doing and why.

These are some of the incredible people behind Florida Dive Company. Our instructors, divemasters, and staff are the ones who help turn a day at Blue Spring State Park into an experience our guests remember long after they leave.

EVERYONE EXPERIENCES THE WATER DIFFERENTLY. 🌊

One of the things we love about private snorkel tours is the ability to slow things down, get to know our guests, and create an experience that works for the people in front of us.

Florida Dive Company staff are SDI Scubility trained, giving our team additional tools for working with guests who may have different physical, cognitive, sensory, or learning needs.

For this group, the day included some pretty special moments. They were able to see manatees in the spring, and one guest reached an important milestone: becoming comfortable wearing a mask and putting their face in the water for the first time.

Sometimes what looks like a small step can be a really big accomplishment.

With patient instruction, direct supervision, and an experience built around the individual, milestones can happen in the water that may not have seemed possible before.
