Corona Eagles PTO

Good morning! May is Mental Health Awareness month and at Corona Elementary we will engaging our students in activities to support our emotional well-being. Attached is the calendar for our sprit week to support the message.

Also included, are the names of our students who were selected as our Students of the Week for last week.... a bit late, but always great!

Last night at De Anza Middle School, three of our students, Alondra Benitez, Kevin Andrade, and Jace Castro were recognized in front of our Board of Trustees, Superintendent Dr. Hammond, district staff and school administrators, and many proud parents! Alondra met the requirements to receive her Seal of Biliteracy, and Jace and Kevin were recognized for the Robot Rally. Way to go Eagles!!!

Emiliano and Ivan were recognized last night at the Ontario City Counsel meeting for winning their water poster contest. Congrats to these two.

Carnival pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase this Friday, May 10, from 2:30pm-3:30pm, in the front of our school. Tickets cost $1 each. During presale special, buy 10 tickets and get one free. Tickets will be used to purchase food, play games, face painting and much more. Cash will not be accepted at the booths.

We will announce more dates for pre-sale tickets. Don't wait in long lines on the day of our Carnival, May 17...

Help us congratulate our AVID Standout Student, Hayah Kim!! Last night in San Bernardino, Hayah was recognized, along with other AVID students throughout the county, as a prime example of all the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) student. Corona Elementary is proud of you... go Eagles!
