Team Miller/Kearns fired an impressive -11 day two score to propel up the leaderboard and take the top spot!

Lyon Lazare, PGA, of Monarch Beach Golf Links is the 2026 SCPGA Match Play Champion!

Lazare defeated Steve Saunders, PGA, 1UP in the final match. With his victory, Lazare will receive an exemption into the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship in Cabo on Nov. 5-8, marking his first-ever start on the PGA TOUR.

SCPGA CEO Nikki Gatch, PGA, accepted the award on behalf of the Southern California PGA Section on July 15 at the Ioamosa House in Rancho Cucamonga.
