Hey all! We have a bunch more reflectors to give out and we still don't have any protected bike lanes so let us Ride and Reflect again this Sunday! Bring your bike, your helmet, your lights. And your reflectors. And bring a friend who didn't get one last time around and let's cruise. We will be massing up here at the shop at 5:30 with a rollout as close to 6 as we can. We will be hanging at the shop from close at 4 til the ride starts, so if you need to make some tweaks to your set-up we'll have some time for that. See you there!

Hello! Do any community members have a spare desktop computer running at least Windows 10 or equivalently modern? We are looking for something to run our point of sale, do inventory management, and email so it doesnt have to fmbe fancy, just not a dinosaur. Let us know, we might be down to trade you some bike stuff for it!!

On May 2nd we collaborated with Bancroft Elementary in hosting a Bike Rodeo!
Working with the school, in line with our mission, we invited students who lacked the means or access for accessible transportation.
Through this three hour program students learned about bike safety, basic maintenance, and vocabulary for parts of the bicycle. A couple students conquered the feat of riding their bike for the first time!
While the former are important, we made sure to have fun with a couple games such as Red Light, Green Light and Foot Down.
Together we emphasized the importance of riding as a way of growing our curiosity, care for our community, and exploring independence.
Our Bancroft Bike Rodeo graduates receive free,
🚴🏽♀️ Helmets from Scheel’s
♻️ Bikes donated by YOU!
📚 Books from the Head Librarian at Bancroft Elementary
We send our gratitude to Principal Milan, LCSW Leah Baker, and volunteers from South High’s Educators Rising, for their unwavering support and excitement for the first of many bike rodeos.

This Sunday, we have a couple friends of CBPO hosting a lesson on wheatpasting at 11am before the Bus Bench Building workshop at 12pm!
To practice our newly learned skills, we will be pasting our art onto the benches along with the option to paint.
The art of wheatpasting dates back to ancient times. Its roots are based in guerrilla art, crafts, & direct communication with one’s community.
We will have another wheatpasting workshop come May 31st.

There is immense power in our labor, we encourage all who oppose the tyranny of these masked murderers to withhold your labor and your money on this day of resistance.
The people united will never be defeated!
Hay un poder inmenso en nuestro trabajo; animamos a todos los que se oponen a la tiranía de estos asesinos enmascarados a que se abstengan de trabajar y de gastar su dinero en este día de resistencia.
¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!

Our doors are open tonight for an Advocacy Potluck regarding SATC’s ICE Watch & Community Defense Class.
This is a kid friendly event. Masks are encouraged.
For safety reasons we did not send out an RSVP. We will try our very best to accommodate everyone that comes through. With that being said, we have a limited amount of space and chairs, so please bring a folding chair just in case and be prepared to be in close quarters.
We are grateful to host y’all. If you have malicious intentions please stay home.
Thank you.
