Unfortunately my run at the 2026 Junior Gold Championships has ended. Today I rolled a 710 series four the last four games of qualifying. I missed the first cut by only 26 pins finishing 59th overall out of 326. On the positive side this has been by far my best Junior Gold performance where I averaged 174.68 for my 16 games of qualifying. Thank you again to all the friends and family here and back home for all your support and well wishes. It is a tough pill to swallow knowing I was this close to bonus bowling but also makes me want to continue work to improve. Thank you to the college coaches I have met and have been able to talk to throughout the week. Your encouragement has not gone unnoticed.
Now time to relax the rest of today before bowling the survivors tournament tomorrow night to try to earn my junior gold spot for next year.

Day 3 of Jr Gold is complete for me. This has been my best score of my junior gold experiences to the best of my knowledge. Though I did have one not so good game today I had a four game total of 734. There is one more day of qualifying left to go tomorrow. The first cut is the top 47. Currently sitting 58th but only 11 pins back from the cut line. Hope to make the jump into the cut tomorrow.
The Storm Phaze 2 and Bionic did the heaving lifting today.
Day 2 qualifying at Jr Gold is done and was better than day one. Started off slow with back to back games only in the 150s, but finishing each decently with several filled frames in a row. Games three and four went much better rolling 187 and 211 finishing the day with a four game total of 708. Did leave some pins out there again today with missed makeables but this is still an improvement from not only yesterday, but from the last few years since participating in Junior Gold.
I thought this was a better shot that the result, but can’t get all the breaks.
Balls of choices today were the Storm Phaze 2, Storm Bionic, and Roto Grip Transformer.

Day 1 of Junior Gold qualifying is done. Short pattern was out there for me today. Started off decent with a 179 but could keep everything together all day averaging 160.75 for the four games today. I have been bowling better in short patterns of late, but that just didn’t carry through today. Three more days to learn and improve. Just want to finish better and average higher than last year. Dad was able to get one good video of me bowling today. No, this is not the shot I left the Lilly on, for those of you that know.
Wrapped up the night with a Minnesota Lynx game which was absolutely awesome!! 10/10 would go back.
What I thought may have been an easier pattern for myself, turned out to the the opposite. It was definitely more of a struggle this afternoon. Only averages about 153 for the five games this afternoon after averaging 170+ this morning.
Time to rest and hope for the best tomorrow
Finished first round (short pattern) in 12th out of 24 U15 girls. My missed makeable spares cost me from medaling as I was only 45 pins from third place.
Practice for second round starts now.
Games 3 and 4 have been overly rough. 121 and 149. Had some really bad ball reaction in game three and I got a little lost with the transition. Game four may have been a little of an over compensation with ball choice but game me more opportunity for makeable spares though shot making wasn’t ideal. Regroup and go for game 5
Game 2 - 235 finishing with the last 7 strikes. Left some pins out there as I did miss two 10 pins, but definitely take the plus game and get me plus after 2.
Game one on the short pattern was a 186!

Today is rounds 1 and 2 of SYC Orlando. Practice yesterday went well for the most part. Time to focus and grind.
