Today, while I was guiding a client through her workout online, my little workout buddy decided it was her turn to train too. đź’•

At 7 months old, she’s discovering movement, building strength, and proudly getting up on all fours. Watching her reminds me that every body is designed to learn, adapt, and grow—one small step at a time.

Whether you’re mastering your hundred, recovering from an injury, returning after having a baby, or simply learning to crawl, progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up consistently and celebrating each milestone along the way. One rep, one roll, one crawl at a time. 🤍

My TM7 has officially arrived! ✨

Although I’m no longer a Thermomix consultant, there’s no question that this incredible kitchen robot has earned its permanent spot on my kitchen counter.

With a busy Pilates studio, a toddler, and a 6-month-old baby, life is full. The Thermomix continues to be one of the tools that helps me put healthy, homemade meals on the table without spending hours in the kitchen.

From homemade baby food for my baby, to meals my toddler actually enjoys, to fresh dinners for my husband and me—it’s working hard behind the scenes every single day.

One of my favorite things? I can start dinner, head to the playground with the kids, and come back to a meal that’s ready or nearly finished. Less stress, less mess, less takeout, and more time spent where it matters most.

And let’s not forget the savings 💰💰💰

Some kitchen gadgets come and go. This one has truly become part of our family’s daily routine.

Anyone else still obsessed with their Thermomix years later? 🙋🏼‍♀️.

They say movement is a language, and I believe it has been mine for as long as I can remember.

Growing up in France, my first love was classical dance. It taught me discipline, precision, and an appreciation for how beautifully the body can move when it is trained with intention. Years later, I discovered Classical Pilates, and it felt like finding the missing piece. It combined strength with control, challenge with grace, and technique with purpose.

Today, as the founder of Cecile Classical Pilates, my mission is simple: to help people move better so they can live better. Whether you’re new to Pilates, recovering from an injury, improving your posture, or simply looking for a thoughtful approach to fitness, every session is designed around you.

I’m also a wife and a mother of two young children, so I understand that our bodies change through different seasons of life. Pilates has reminded me time and again that progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, patience, and learning to work with your body rather than against it.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to share this journey with you. I look forward to continuing to educate, inspire, and help this community discover the incredible benefits of authentic Classical Pilates.

”Pilates is great for core and endurance…but not for strength”

It’s a statement I hear often, and I think it comes from confusing modern fitness Pilates with the original method created by Joseph Pilates.

What you’re seeing here isn’t just “core work.”

✨ Pull Up
✨ Snake
✨ Side Kick Front & Back
✨ Going Up Side
✨ Side Push Up

These exercises require significant upper and lower body strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and control—all while working against gravity and spring resistance.

Joseph Pilates called his method Contrology, a complete system designed to develop a body that is uniformly strong, flexible, and balanced. The apparatus wasn’t created to make exercises easier; it was designed to challenge the body through progressively more demanding movements.

Is traditional weight training excellent for maximizing muscle hypertrophy and bone density? Absolutely.

But strength isn’t measured only by how much weight you can lift. It is also measured by how well you can control and move your own body through space with precision and efficiency.

Classical Pilates is not “just core.”
It is not “just endurance.”
It is a sophisticated system of progressive strength training that has been transforming bodies for nearly a century.

The method speaks for itself.

Beyond the Classical Syllabus. ✨

An intimate workshop led by my mentor, , bringing together a hand-selected group of teachers she has worked with for years. To be included in this circle was truly meaningful.

We explored the known, the lesser-known, and more exercises of the original method — Strong work, hands-on teaching, laughter, focus, and such a beautiful energy in the room.

A reminder that great teachers never stop being students. Pilates is a lifelong practice of study, precision, and discovery. Every training deepens not only our own bodies, but the way we guide others.
So grateful to continue this journey surrounded by passionate teachers and guided by a mentor who continues to inspire me deeply. ✨
