It was a great morning for our Tuesday Tour de Lakes ride! We even got to see some familiar faces along the way 🙂.

This Wednesday will be the last official Slide Ride. Our amazing ride leader, Jek, has dedicated over ten years of his time to making sure our riders were safe and happy. We have met so many amazing people throughout the years, and have made lots of great memories.

We hope you can join us for one last Slide. Meet at Stinson Park in Aksarben at 6:30pm on Wednesday, July 1st. We don't go far, and we don't go fast. But, we DO have a great time :).

The plan aligns with the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan and is being developed in collaboration with partner jurisdictions including the City of Valley, City of Waterloo, City of Bennington, the City of Omaha, the Papio–Missouri River Natural Resources District, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA).

We had a hearty group of riders for our first Tuesday Tour de Lakes ride of the season! It felt more like a Fall morning than Spring, but at least it was mostly dry 🙂

Our Tuesday "Tour de Lakes" group ride will be kicking off the 2026 season tomorrow! Join at Pacific Meadows trailhead (just north of 159th and Pacific) at 9am. The ride will head north to Lake Flanagan and back. Expect a total of about 20 miles. All riders are required to wear a helmet, and must sign a waiver to participate.

We have our fingers crossed for dry weather, but will send an update if it's too dicey to go.

To celebrate 50 years as a company, Trek Bicycle is throwing a big party in Waterloo, Wisconsin June 18-20th. One of our friends, Jeff Quandt, will be heading up there to take part in the festivities and the annual Trek 100 bike ride. Jeff and Trek are using this event to help raise funds for the MACC Fund - Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.. If you would like, follow this link to help the cause:
