Parking update:
I think we might be ok for parking There is parking on the inner circle (see photos) of the lot.
Once that fills we will also park along the road. Please try to park angle in (rather than parallel) to get as many people parked as we can!

*** Parking Update ***
We have permission from the park staff to park cars on the grass tomorrow! Please be on the lookout for parking attendants during the later hours to help get as many folks into the lot near start/finish as we can.
3H runners, there may be soccer games happening during the day, so please still plan to arrive early and know that we may still have to use the gravel lot for parking.

FAQs: Parking
** 3H runners in particular, please read this post **
Parking at the start/finish area is limited.
Overflow lot is the gravel lot at the main entrance.
There is NO parking along the road to the start/finish lot by the soccer fields.
Please carpool! Fewer cars means more people can make it in the lot closest to the race.
Later in the day we will have parking attendants to help direct you. Please follow their instructions.
We have over 200 runners this year, so I do expect that the lot near the start area will fill before all 3H runners arrive. Once we run out of parking at the start area, we will park at the gravel lot at the main entrance. You will have to walk across the dam to the start. I promise, it is not that far, use it as a warm up!
** If you have to use overflow lot **
If you need to drop gear, you can drive to the start and unload gear, but will then have to return to the gravel lot to park.
** We are considering moving packet pickup to the gravel parking lot once the lot at start/finish is full. Please pay attentionto the instructions of the parking attendants and they can direct you. **

FAQs: Packet Pickup
You can pick up someone else's packet.
Two options for packet pickup are available. Option A is strongly encouraged!
A) Friday, June 26th, 2026, 3-6PM at:
Peak Performance
519 N 78th St, Omaha, NE 68114
There is not a separate race day check-in. Once you have your bib, you are good to go.
B) Saturday, June 27th, 2026
Available on site at Chalco.
Please allow extra time if picking up on race day!
* For 12H runners: packet pickup will be near the main aid station at the start/finish.
Packet pickup will open after we get things set up, so probably not before 530.
* For 6H runners, packet pickup will be near the main aid station at the start/finish. Runners coming into the aid station have priority, so please allow extra time.
* For 3H runners, we MIGHT move packet pickup to the gravel lot at the main park entrance to save you time because I expect the start area parking lot to fill. That will be a race day decision based on available volunteers. If I don't have enough volunteers to spare, it will remain near the main aid station. Please pay attention to the parking attendants as you enter the park for directions to packet pickup.
SWAG
Hats
All 12H runners get a hat.
We had such high demand that we had to order extra hats! There are 2 colors (see photo). First come, first serve on color choice!
* If you purchased a hat at registration, I have flagged your bib and will set aside a blue hat. You can switch to a white hat if desired, just let the team know.
There should be extra hats. These will be available for purchase AFTER the 12H start ($30) first come first serve.
Tshirts
If you registered before the shirt deadline, you will receive a shirt at packet pickup.
If you missed the shirt deadline, please come by the main aid station tent at the end of the race. I order extras, so any remaining shirts will be available first come first serve (cannot guarantee sizing).
Stickers
Everyone gets one!

FAQs: Timing and Awards
ALL laps must be completed by 7:00 p.m. or the lap will not count toward your final lap count.
Most laps wins the awards, but everyone can earn a medal!
Earn your medal by one of these options:
A. Stay on course the entire time.
- No extended breaks (greater than 25 minutes between finishing 1 loop and starting another)
- Keep going until we stop you!
- Does NOT require minimum number of laps
B. Run the equivalent of 1 lap per hour during your chosen time frame
3 Hours: 3 laps
6 Hours: 6 laps
12 Hours: 12 laps
Other Reasons to Talk to Timing Team:
1. You plan to take an extended break.
- The timing pad automatically resets after a certain amount of time (~25 minutes).
- If you stay at the base camp area for too long, it will try to count an extra lap when you head back out!
2. If you want to drop down in distance
** you will not be eligible for awards if you drop to a shorter distance mid-race **
3. You plan to stop for the day. We need to know so that we can mark your bib number Otherwise we might send the search party out!

FAQs: CUP-LESS
Dizzy Goat is a cup-less race. This means you must have your own personal cup or hydration device for the race (flasks, bladders, and handheld bottles are all good options).
We won't have any disposable cups on site to reduce our trash output. If you want water, electrolytes, soda, snacks, etc, you have to use a cup/bottle from home.
I have a limited number of collapsible cups remaining from last year. You can grab one for free at packet pickup until we run out!
