✨ Member Spotlight: Jocelyn
We say it all the time—fitness isn’t just about losing weight.
It’s about having more energy.
Sleeping better.
Recovering faster.
Feeling stronger.
Living healthier for the long run.
…But sometimes losing a few pounds is a pretty nice bonus, too. 😉
After turning 40, Jocelyn noticed that the things that worked in her 30s weren’t working anymore. Instead of chasing another fad diet, she made a few simple, sustainable changes:
🥗 Focused on whole, minimally processed foods.
☕ Swapped energy drinks for coffee and waited until after breakfast for caffeine.
🚶 Added a daily walk outside.
💪 Stayed consistent with her workouts.
The result?
✨ 12 pounds down in just 2½ months.
✨ Better sleep.
✨ More energy.
✨ Faster recovery.
✨ More confidence.
✨ Feeling amazing.
One of our favorite parts of her story is this:

🍳 Nutrition Tip of the Week: Start Your Day with Protein
One of the simplest habits you can build for better energy, fewer cravings, and improved recovery is eating 20–30 grams of protein within 1–2 hours of waking up.
A protein-rich breakfast can help:
✅ Keep you feeling full longer
✅ Stabilize blood sugar
✅ Reduce afternoon cravings
✅ Support muscle recovery and growth
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein oats, or a protein shake are all great options.
Small habits, practiced consistently, lead to big results over time.
