Nuke ‘Em Ruck Club

We did it! We walked 50 miles from the Nebraska State Capitol steps to the Werner Ballpark in Omaha. It’s about 120K steps and it took us 22 hours. It was inspired. It was challenging and terrible at times, but mostly just amazing! Thank you to all the volunteers, especially Todd and Becky, that made it pods for the marchers to complete. Registration is open for 2027 if you’re interested in joining us next year!

Today is the big day! We are well on our way- we are halfway through our second leg already. The weather is pretty dang perfect, the company is amazing, and the support team is the best there is.

Another training session done! We did 7.2 miles and had a really nice breeze to keep us from thinking it was hot. Our guest dog, Bear, did great! Way too hot for Loki. Keep training, we are 19 days away from the big event. Don’t stop now!

3 weeks left! The NERC set out for our hottest training session yet. We did 10 miles in 101 degree weather with a heat index of 110. Yeah! We might be crazy but we are confident that this training will prepare us for when we walk 50 miles towards the prevention of veteran su***de and homelessness . We still need your support!
