Millard South QB Trae Taylor talks about what excites him heading into the Elite 11 finals taking place at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

Taylor is a Nebraska commit and fresh face in Omaha, as he transferred from Carmel Catholic in Illinois for his senior season.

Baylor Scheierman fractured his thumb in March and played through the NBA season with the injury. 💪

The former Creighton Bluejay said he elected not to get surgery on it and let it heal naturally.

Two-time NFCA Player of the Year and four-time First-Team All-American Jordy Frahm will join the Huskers as an assistant coach.

“I am beyond excited to join the Nebraska softball coaching staff,” Frahm said. “Playing softball for the Huskers was an incredible blessing to me and the coaches had a huge impact on me as an athlete and as a person. I am ready to have that impact on others and continue to grow the game in my home state. I’m honored by the trust that Coach Revelle has in me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her and the rest of the staff in a new role. Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla flew to Omaha to spend time working out with Baylor Scheierman on Creighton’s campus. 💚

Scheierman just finished year two with the Celtics.

Creighton sharpshooter Jackson McAndrew played just four games before sitting out the rest of the season with a foot injury.

McAndrew said he’s “really close” to being back at full speed. 👀
