Our 12U Porter squad is heading to New Tampa for the SFP Labor of Love, while 16U RamaSanto takes over Lakeland for the NSA Iron Woman!

These athletes have been putting in the work, and now it’s time to compete! Let’s wish both teams good luck and send them plenty of A23 love this weekend! 💙🤍🩵

🎉🥎 WELCOME TO A23, COACH SOPHIA! 🥎🎉

We’re excited to officially welcome Coach Sophia to the Academy 23 Athletics coaching staff! 💙

Coach Sophia brings 13+ years of softball experience and a strong background behind the plate and at the corners. She played all four years of varsity softball at Alonso High School, where she served as a team captain and earned 1st Team All-State honors. A catcher by trade, she also has experience at 1st and 3rd base and was known for bringing some serious power at the plate! 💪🥎

She continued her playing career at Flagler College, competing at the NCAA Division II level.

Now, Coach Sophia is excited to step into coaching and give back to the game that played such a big role in shaping her childhood. We’re thrilled to have another experienced former collegiate athlete joining our staff and pouring her knowledge, passion, and love for the game into the next generation of A23 athletes.

Academy 23 Athletics is excited to officially welcome Coach Brooke to the A23 coaching staff!

Coach Brooke brings 15+ years of softball experience to our organization, including a successful collegiate playing career where she earned both 1st Team and 2nd Team All-Conference honors. As a utility player who primarily caught at the collegiate level, she brings a well-rounded knowledge of the game along with a strong understanding of leadership, communication, preparation, and the mental side of softball.

What we’re most excited about is the passion Coach Brooke has for developing young athletes. Her goal is to help our girls grow not only as softball players, but also in their confidence, discipline, teamwork, and character. She believes in challenging athletes to work hard, compete, believe in themselves, and still enjoy the game along the way.

Coach Brooke is excited to build relationships with our A23 players and families and create an environment where our athletes can learn, compete, have fun, and reach their full potential.

We’re excited to have her joining the A23 family and can’t wait to see the impact she makes on our athletes!

We are SO proud to highlight 18U Academy 23 Athletics – RamaSanto’s very own Erin Sugg! 💙🩶

Erin has had an incredible summer competing not only with her A23 team, but with the United States Virgin Islands National Team, representing at an elite level and gaining experience that very few athletes get the opportunity to have!

And she’s bringing home some hardware! 🏆🔥 Last week, Erin and her team WON the RBI Nike World Series in Vero Beach!

We couldn’t be more proud to watch Erin compete, succeed, and represent Academy 23 Athletics wherever the game takes her. Keep working, keep competing, and keep making us proud!

Academy 23 – Franz 14U is looking for 1–2 more players to complete our Fall 2026 roster!

This is a special group of girls and coaches who know how to work hard, compete, and—most importantly—have fun together. After an incredible 42–14 record last season, we’re excited to build on that success and make Fall 2026 another great season!

Competitive team. Great culture. Lots of fun.

We are so excited to recognize Academy 23 Athletics’ very own Piper Judkins for an awesome accomplishment OFF the softball field!

Piper participated in the Teen Summer Reading Challenge at the Dunedin Library and was selected as the GRAND PRIZE WINNER! 🎉📖 As part of her grand prize, Piper was given the incredible opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Dunedin Blue Jays game this past Saturday! 💙

We love celebrating our athletes for everything they accomplish both on and off the field. Being a student-athlete is about so much more than just the game, and we are so proud to see Piper representing herself and Academy 23 in such a special way!
