New Grant Program for Young Athletes – Applications Now Open
USA Archery is excited to share a new opportunity for young athletes.
The Luka Dončić Foundation has launched Stay in Play, a global grant program offering up to $25,000 to help young athletes aged 12-15 continue playing the sports they love.
Who's eligible:
Athletes aged 12-15
Playing their sport consistently for 6 months
What the grant covers: The grants are designed to cover the costs that most often create barriers for participation - coaching or training, equipment or gear, travel expenses to train or compete, or club, league, or program fees.
Why it matters: 70% of kids quit sports by age 13, often due to financial barriers rather than lack of interest or talent. Stay in Play exists to make sure young athletes don't have to walk away from the games they love because of cost.
How to apply: Applications are open now through August 20, 2026. Apply directly at: www.lukadoncicfoundation.org/sip
If a young athlete in your life is eligible, please encourage them to apply. If you know other families or coaches who work with young athletes who could benefit, please share this opportunity with them.

All set up and ready to go! Shooting starts at 8. After some rain, it looks like the skies are clearing nicely! Here’s hoping the temperature stays in the ‘acceptable’ level. Good luck to all the competitors today! Shoot straight.
