We are incredibly proud to celebrate a very special milestone, Alejandro & Giselle’s debut as a solo performance couple! 🔥

Both Alejandro and Giselle have been part of our dance family and performance teams for multiple years, working their way up to our highest-level Salsa and Bachata teams. We’ve had the privilege of watching their growth as dancers, performers, teammates, and now, as a couple taking the floor on their own.

Putting together a show like this takes so much more than what you see during those few minutes on the dance floor. It takes countless hours of practice outside of regular classes and team rehearsals, private lessons, technique training, repetition, patience, discipline, and a commitment to getting better every time.

And then comes one of the hardest parts: having the courage to step onto the floor with just the two of you and perform with every eye in the room on you. That takes confidence, trust, and bravery. 💪

Alejandro & Giselle, congratulations on taking this next step in your dance journey. We are so proud to have been a part of your growth over the years and even more excited to see where you take it from here.

What an AMAZING performance last night! 👏

We are so incredibly proud of this team and everything they accomplished in such a short amount of time.

After only 7 weeks of training, Salsa On Toucans performed a demonstration of the first half of their show. And now, just 10 weeks in, they stepped onto the floor and performed the ENTIRE show! 🔥

The growth in their confidence, technique, timing, movement and presence has been incredible to watch. They worked hard, trusted the process, supported one another, and absolutely delivered last night.

Congratulations, Salsa On Toucans! You were AMAZING! ❤️🦜

WHAT IS A SOCIAL DANCE TEAM?
We created the Social Dance Team because we noticed something: taking class once or twice a week is incredibly valuable, but it can be difficult to get enough repetition to make new techniques and patterns feel completely natural on the social dance floor, especially if you don’t have a partner to practice with or can’t go social dancing frequently.

So we created a team specifically focused on becoming a stronger, more confident social dancer.

For three months, dancers consistently train and repeat the same core material while working on things like:

✨ Lead & follow technique
✨ Frame, connection & reaction
✨ Spin technique & balance
✨ Body movement
✨ Styling
✨ Musicality & timing
✨ Confidence on the social dance floor

Instead of constantly learning something new, they get the opportunity to drill, repeat, refine and actually become comfortable using what they’ve learned.
