🥋📚 HOMESCHOOL + JIU-JITSU = THE PERFECT COMBINATION

There’s something special about bringing our homeschool families together on the mats every week. ❤️

Our weekly Homeschool JiuJitsu class is about so much more than learning techniques.

It gives kids an opportunity to move, compete, communicate, problem-solve, and build confidence alongside other homeschool students.

🥋 Physical Activity: Jiu-Jitsu gets kids moving, developing strength, coordination, balance, endurance, and body awareness.

🧠 Problem Solving: Every roll is a puzzle. Students learn to think under pressure, make decisions, adapt, and try again when something doesn’t work.

🤝 Social Connection: Homeschooling doesn’t mean kids have to miss out on community. The mats create a place to build friendships, learn teamwork, and develop meaningful relationships.

💪 Confidence & Resilience: Jiu-Jitsu teaches kids that struggling is part of learning. They learn to stay calm, overcome challenges, and keep going when things get difficult.

🎯 Discipline & Accountability: Showing up every week, listening to coaches, working with partners, and improving little by little teaches lessons that extend far beyond the mats.

❤️ COMMUNITY: Perhaps the biggest benefit of all. Parents get to connect with other homeschool families while their kids grow together in a positive environment.

Homeschooling gives families the freedom to build education around their children.

JiuJitsu gives those children a place to challenge themselves, connect with others, and grow through experience.

Every week, we get to watch that growth happen right in front of us.

Learn together. Train together. Grow together. 🥋❤️

🌴🥋 JIU-JITSU CON 2026 — LAS VEGAS! 🥋🌴

This weekend, our Youth Culture Competitor Calix stepped onto some of the biggest mats in the world at IBJJF JiuJitsu Con in Las Vegas! 🔥

Calix took on both NoGi AND Gi, testing himself against some of the best youth competitors out there.

While NoGi didn’t go the way he wanted, Calix showed exactly what competition is all about, you get back up and you go again.

Day TWO, Calix came back ready to fight and secured a 🥉 3RD PLACE FINISH in Gi, finishing his match with a MOUNTED AMERICANA! 💪🏼🔥

We couldn’t be more proud of you, Calix!

Stepping onto the mats at an IBJJF event of this level takes courage, preparation, discipline, and heart.
The medal is awesome, but what matters even more is having the courage to put yourself in a position where you can be tested, challenged, and pushed beyond your comfort zone.

Every match teaches you something.
Every loss builds you.
Every win reminds you that the work is worth it.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep fighting.

The Culture Fam is proud of you, Calix!

🔥 FRIDAYS ARE FOR THE COMPETITORS. 🔥

Every Friday, our competition team steps onto the mats for
COMP CLASS and this isn’t just another night of training.
It’s our most intense class of the week.

The warmups are harder.
The drilling is sharper.
The rounds are tougher.
And the expectations are HIGHER.

We push endurance because competition doesn’t care if you’re tired.
We drill under pressure because the moment you need a technique most is usually when everything feels chaotic.
We put ourselves in highrisk situations because we want to learn how to stay calm, problem solve, and execute when the stakes are high.
But the biggest thing we’re training? THE MIND.

Every time an athlete pushes through another round when their body says, “I’m done,” they’re teaching themselves that discomfort isn’t the end.

Every time they get stuck, exhausted, frustrated, or uncomfortable and KEEP WORKING they’re building confidence in their ability to overcome.
Because competition isn’t won by the person who never gets tired, never gets nervous, or never faces adversity.
It’s won by the person who has learned “I can handle hard.”

We don’t train hard because we want our athletes to suffer.
We train hard because we want them to discover what they’re capable of.

COMP CLASS. Every Friday. Let’s work.

THE LITTLES ARE PUTTING IN SERIOUS WORK! 🔥

Last week, our Littles showed up and showed OUT on the mats! And yes… this was SERIOUS work.

Why?

Because for many of these little warriors, we’re already two weeks into the school routine. 🎒📚
Early mornings, long days, homework, new schedules, and all the adjustments that come with getting back into the swing of things…

And they’re STILL showing up.
They’re STILL listening.
They’re STILL learning.
They’re STILL giving their BEST effort.
That’s what makes us proud.

Jiujitsu isn’t just about learning how to move, grapple, or submit. For our Littles, it’s about learning how to show up when you’re tired, try when something is difficult, listen when it’s hard to focus, and keep going when you’d rather quit.
Those little lessons on the mats become BIG lessons in life.
So to all of our Littles who are balancing school AND jiujitsu right now…

WE SEE YOU. 👀
WE’RE PROUD OF YOU. ❤️
KEEP SHOWING UP!

The habits they build today are shaping the athletes and humans they’ll become tomorrow.
