What a day! We are so proud of our team! We always get so many compliments for the way our students behave, help and perform! We had competitors from ages 3 to 40s! For some it was there first tournament, many tried new divisions. Some signed up for divisions we have never even practiced and didn't know the rules until they were in the ring! The experience, lessons, friendships, teamwork, laughter, smiles and fellowship were top notch!
Watching and coaching our students today is why we do what we do! We love them hard just like our own, we push them when they can't or won't push themselves and we do our very best to SHOW them how to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We fall short daily, but we push to do better each day and with each decision we make. Today they witnessed their instructor again be asked to pray for the whole event and got to hear a small part of a young man's testimony of just how simply following what the Lord puts on your heart can help another person lean into the Lord. Although we may have pointed him to the Lord, he made the choice to follow Him! To God be the Glory!
And THAT is what being a WARRIOR FOR CHRIST IS ALL ABOUT!
