Opening weekend is in the books! It was so great to see all the players and their families out at the fields today.

There is a lot of work that goes into making a soccer Saturday a success.
Thank you to all the board members who help make these weekends possible.
Thank you to our refs who keep the games being played.
Thank you to the City of Odessa, Texas for working with us to provide the best fields possible for our community!

And a very special thank you to volunteers Hannah and George. They aren’t on the board, they just have a love for soccer and the OSA and they come week in and week out to help us get set up in the morning and put away at the end of the day. They have supplied us with coffee/cocoa on the cold days and ice on the hot ones and are always willing to help with any wild errand we have at the moment. They exemplify what our soccer community is all about and we wouldn’t be able to do this without their continued help and support.

Lightning!!!! OSA requires games and or practices to stop activities outdoors when there is lightning within 10 miles. You must wait 30 min from the last lightning strike within a 10 mile radius before resuming.

Playing in the rain is a blast but lightning is extremely dangerous.

Stay safe, play another day.
