Laura C6 Spinal Cord Injury in Modified Jammer.

This is a modification of a "Jammer" type exercise that focuses on "Triple Extension". In a Jammer exercise you are extending all major joints i.e. Elbows, Shoulders, Back, Hips, Knees, Ankles(Plantar Flexion).

Here we are focusing on the Hip, Knees, and Ankles. Heels are wedged to direct pressure into the balls of the feet. Ankles and knees are strapped and blocked for lateral stability. The Redcord bungies are assisting with lifting the pelvis. This allows Laura to focus solely on driving through the legs to press up and forward.

Thanks to Steph Comella | Pilates+ for SCI | Educator & Coach for the inspiration.
