Phillip Lapuz the founder of Kronos Golf grew up in the golf industry. He was raised in Carlsbad, California, where my backyard was and still is Callaway, TaylorMade, and Titleist's test and manufacturing facilities. His best friend's father runs a machine shop that mills prototype putters for some of the biggest and smallest names in golf. It is there that he learned his craft under their guidance, and it is there that we mill our clubs. Kronos Golf continues their tradition of manufacturing putter heads in North County of San Diego. The entire process is still done in North County from cutting metal to coating the heads, to shafting and gripping the clubs.
