In the summer of 1980, Mayor of Lawrence Bagley received a glowing endorsement letter from the President of the Special Olympics to create Ivey Ranch Park. Within 18 months, Mayor Bagley was dedicating parkland for a place that serves “…those members of our community who are too often ignored or excluded…”
We continue this legacy 45 years later and think Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver would be thrilled to see the results! 💙
