Today was a great day. Love that we got to join in with ! Just a reminder next weekend there is NO group run due to Distance Series and One City!! Let’s get out there and do it!

The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend is the largest and most anticipated running event in Hampton Roads - with people traveling from all 50 states and beyond to experience the fast, fun courses (plus the legendary post-race beach celebration)! It’s often called a “World Class Race with a Hometown Feel,” and that hometown energy comes straight from our incredible local run clubs.

From showing up on race day to bringing the noise on course, local run clubs help power the weekend. The high-energy Run Club Alley along the Sentara Shamrock Half Marathon and the Yuengling Shamrock Full Marathon routes has quickly become a favorite highlight for runners and spectators alike. New this year, we’re celebrating that run club spirit even more—creating convenient places to train and more opportunities for local runners and walkers to meet up, share miles, and make memories together.

👉 Starting January 24, local run clubs will host weekend Shamrock Meet Ups for 8 weeks at locations across Hampton Roads (and beyond!). Expect detailed courses, encouragement, camaraderie and good times! All levels and paces are welcome. ☘️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
