Coming up this September 13th, Ocala Roller Derby will be having our annual Pirates vs Mermaids scrimmage!! We are on the hunt for any vendors interested in joining us for the chance to sell their items at the Ocala Downtown Market and see an exciting game of roller derby!

📢 Attention family and friends of Ocala Roller Derby! Next Sunday at 6pm we will go head to head with our derby siblings Thunder City Derby Sirens, at our home rink Skate Mania 🧱
This game we will be partnering for Roll Into Creativity with LILAC Foundation! We will host a donation drive for art supplies to benefit student artists! 🎨 All donations and a portion of our ticket proceeds will go to benefit the Lisa Irwin Legacy for Arts and Culture 💜 Bring some art supplies, and bring a chair for the best seating to watch some epic derby action!

Recently Ocala Roller Derby has partnered with Angie Lewis - State Farm Agent in a Quotes For Good Fundraiser! The league will receive a donation of $25 for every person who calls for a quote and mentions our Ocala Roller Derby League! 🧱
This is an offer valid through the end of September 2026!

• We got a visit from THE founder of the original Ocala Roller Derby League (the Ocala Cannibals), Megan Whittaker aka "Megronoimicon!” Megan is a Marketing Director at Angie Lewis State Farm, and we are partnering with her and Erin Chasey through the month of August!
• Don’t forget! We have our next HOME game against Thunder City on August 30th, doors open at 4PM! Bring a chair and hope to see you there 🧱🖤

August’s Skater of the Month is our wonderful Goldie Fox! Goldie joined this season to support her wife, StingRae! From her very first practice, Goldie has shown our team the utmost support and selflessness. She said she would never get on skates—but she overcame the hesitation and continues to improve every single practice!! Thank you for always being a bright light, both during and outside of practice. You are SO loved by our team, and we are immensely lucky to have such an incredible human with us! Shout out to both Sting and Goldie for bringing our league a plethora of amazing friends! 🧱🖤
