Thoroughbreds placed through our programs are having a spectacular month in the show ring, love to see it!

Well done to their new connections for the careful development to get them to this point and continuing their education by working their way up the levels from just a handful of rides off the track. Transforming racehorses into competitive show horses takes blood, sweat, and tears, and is a process that cannot be achieved overnight. These horses represent something much greater. Despite the setbacks, keep pushing forward. Trust in the process, put in the hard work, and your dreams may be just around the corner, regardless of financial support. Not every family can afford the six figure warmblood, but with a bit of hard work, good horsemanship, and faith in the process, the thoroughbred fills that gap beautifully. Learn to ride the thoroughbred, and you can ride anything at all. It's time to find the value in a good horse.

1.) Placed* Kaydetri ‘24 Unraced 2 year old gray gelding by Early Voting. Has roughly 60 days undersadddle but his conformation up front will not hold up for a racing career. Best suited for a lower level home. Currently sound with no maintenance. UTD and an easy keeper.

2.) Placed* Kukaluka ‘23 Unraced 3 year old 16.3hh mare by War of Will. Easy keeper and gets along well with other horses. Kind disposition and should be an easy restart. She is a bit back at the knee but still has some growing left to do. In hand and free lounging videos available.

3.) Globecrest. 4 year old 16hh Canadian bred gelding by Global Campain. Lightly raced, UTD and RRP Eligible. Great disposition on the ground and quiet undersaddle. Last raced April 2026 and would benefit from additional let down time and body work. In hand jogging videos available.

🌺Ali'i Nui🌺

Whose name translates to ‘supreme ruler’ in Hawaiian is a 5 year old 16.1hh gelding by Street Boss out of a Take Charge Indy mare. With only 3 starts under his belt, he has been retired sound with clean legs and is ready to pursue a second career as a sport horse. He is currently up-to-date on all vaccines, coggins, dentals and blacksmith work. While his appearance might not be the chromiest or flashiest color, this guy really has a quite striking presence, balanced build, and fluid gaits, making him a prime candidate for the hunter or jumper disciplines. Ali has been lightly restarted under saddle with 3 rides off the track to keep him RRP eligible. I see him thriving in an educated home with young horse experience, he was gelded earlier this year and gelding at that age does seem to take a bit longer for them to register. While he has been great and not studish with other horses, he does have a playful and nippy side to him that could be intimidating for those without young horse experience.. Having been owned and cared for by his breeder throughout his racing career, Ali has been extremely well cared for and will only be available to the most reputable and exceptional homes. In 2024, Ali’s brother ‘Mana Kai’ came through our sales program and has since found great success in the jumper ring, this guy is sure to follow in his footsteps.

Better late than never, South Bend and I submitted our late entries to the 2026 Retired Racehorse Project in Kentucky. We were just notified of our acceptance! We wrapped up a fun weekend at LCT with a clear round over fences. Just some time faults on my part for trying to teach him to relax on course. Looking forward to a Kentucky Fall with my boy🍂🍁

With nearly 70 entries as of this week, a new $25,000 Thoroughbred Hunter Derby scheduled for this upcoming Upperville C**t & Horse Show seems to show that, if you build it, they will come. More at link in comments.

‘Keen’ is a 3 year old, 16.3 hh unraced gelding by More Than Ready out of a European-bred mare.
Big, lofty moving gelding with a quiet, willing disposition. He showed early on that he preferred a slower pace, making him a great candidate for a sporthorse career. He has roughly two weeks of professional retraining and is going well walk/trot/canter, starting to pick up both leads, and has been introduced to poles and small fences.
