This modification has been getting very positive reviews from customers for years, including myself!
Works on all PP108/112's.
Having years of performance experience has had me perform what are affectionately called "FrankenRay" projects and this is one of them. Utilizing 40+ years of Super Flow flow bench research I decided this intake diffuser was a great part to improve on. I measured airflow thru the stock piece and modified it in 3 stages, documenting results after each stage. Gains in each category of different improvements were seen. I was satisfied this would make performance improvements and that has been backed up by my customer's feedback.
The specifics of what I do is guarded but the results are immediately felt.
This is available on an exchange basis. Drive in/ride out or send me yours and I'll send you one back.
Cost is $229.00 Plus shipping.
BTW, the pic is off Indians website in their parts section, just a general image.

Very early on I witnessed the heavily laden Challengers riding way too low and still too low even after I cranked in all the spring preload. I had the opinion that the spring rate is too low. Now with the Pursuits it's even worse. Mom and dad, weight in the bags and the tourpack and a bag on top to boot. Cranking in or adding weight in the screen is not enuff.
GVWR is 1385, curb weight for the Elite is 944 and the others are 937, leaving between 441 and 448 available for added weight. Very easy to surpass that.
I did my research and have available a higher rate spring with a custom machined (by me) adapter. This allows for less preload on mechanical systems and lower pounds input into the RC screen. all this goes to allow for better handling, a safer ride and much more leeway in customizing ride quality for any weight.
Recent feedback... rider and passenger with 395 on the screen, was able to drop to 195 to achieve the same ride height. I am awaiting their results when they get out fully loaded as they also tow a trailer.
Another rider just completed a 4500-mile trip. He weighs 350 and with bags and tourpack filled he only had to input 125 for him and 25 for the bags and tourpack. He commented his Pursuit never handling so good as with his weight it was very easy to get over the allowable weight.
No mods are needed, and a common automotive spring compressor is all that was needed.
