Trails are not groomed. Ungroomed trails have certain characteristics that are rarely found at commercial winter resorts that may or may not be suitable for beginners or novices. Even an inexperienced skier that might be an expert level skier at a groomed winter resort might have difficulties skiing variable snow conditions. All Skiers should have a helmet. No uphill hiking in boots. Only touring gear is allowed. Obstacles can be present and will most likely be unmarked. Snow conditions can change rapidly from wet to ice, powder to crusty so be aware. Ride with others and not alone. Never ski here without someone knowing that you are heading here. Be safe and always look ahead!
