Roger Federer was inducted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame yesterday.
I was honored to get a picture with him when played the River Oaks Invitational in 2000.

He lost in the finals that year, at 18 years of age ranked 50th at the time.
I knew he had the potential to become a great player, when I first saw him practice. He lost in the finals that year unfortunately.

He was so polished & polite to me when I asked him for a photo. Roger put his arm around me as well, which made that more special to remember him by.
He came back to Houston in 2003 & 2004 for the ATP FINALS, which he won both years in a row.
He was & is a CLASS ACT & my favorite player of all time.

Next up are high school tryouts, let’s see where he lands on Varsity. #

We’ve been training for three weeks together.
This young man is the example for all my students to follow, well done sir.

It was a great thrill to see Zane and Alex at their graduation party. Zane is going to college on a full ride Tennis scholarship and Alex is going to UT.

I first had Zane on the courts when he was 13, and it's fulfilling to see that he's moving on to playing in college! What a great graduation party!

21 year old Ignacio Buse wins Hamburg Open!
Played two rounds of qualifying & beat top 3 seeds to win it all.
Is now on to the French Open ranked 31 from 192 a year ago.

Charlotte won a 14 & under UTR in Tyler.
She is only 10 years old, playing at a higher level since we met 9 months ago. So much POTENTIAL!
