Grass Roots family - exciting news: We have an awesome clinic planned for you next month! We have been extremely fortunate to have the ability to offer this option for an incredibly low fee due to the generosity of our sponsors this year - $45 per rider for three hours of instruction. Auditors also welcome for a small additional fee. Entry will require clinic fees to be prepaid to reserve spots and will be due by 10/4 to give time for clinic preparations. We will post a link for sign ups in the next day or two.
Take Your Patterns from Correct to Competitive!
This hands-on clinic will help riders understand how patterns are judged, where points are won and lost, and how to put together a polished, confident performance.
Riders will learn how to break down patterns strategically, improve accuracy and transitions, understand scoresheets and penalties, and focus on the small details that can make a big difference in the show pen. The clinic will wrap up with judged practice patterns and personalized feedback for each rider.
Meet the Clinician
Danielle Saggars is a professional horse trainer and coach based in Kansas City with a lifelong background in all-around events. A former NCAA Division I Equestrian athlete at South Dakota State University, Danielle competed in both Horsemanship and Reining.
She has coached riders and trained horses to wins and top finishes at the world level, with a focus on strong fundamentals, confident horse-and-rider teams, and helping riders turn correct performances into competitive ones.
